Have You Visited Visit Vancouver?

VVU_LogoHere’s one of North Bank Now’s favorite websites: www.visitvancouverusa.com. You’ll discover information on hotels, restaurants, places of historic interest, sporting events, and things to do. Even if you already live here, it’s an excellent resource and a perfect complement to the sparklingly well written and up-to-the-minute articles you’ll find on North Bank Now. (Plus, we definitely have the best pictures.)

This organization has gotten so good at marketing Vancouver to visitors and locals alike that it’s expanding its operations, and Visit Vancouver USA’s business office has moved to Main St. in downtown Vancouver. The visitor center will continue to operate out of its building on the east end of Officers Row, while its marketing operations will now be based at 220 Main St, Suite 220. The new space offers extra room for staff to meet with event planners, convention delegates, industry partners, and hoteliers.

The walk-in visitors’ center on Officers Row will continue to serve both out-of-towners and North Bank residents looking for maps, brochures, and guides to the area. Print editions of the beautiful Visit Vancouver USA travel magazine are available at the center or online in digital form. Visit Vancouver USA’s mission is to increase visitor spending in Vancouver and Clark County through competitively marketing the area as a destination for meetings, conventions, and vacationers (and by golly, it’s working). For more details, call 360-750-1553 or visit www.visitvancouverusa.com.
