No gift is more personal than art: it’s a little piece of the artist’s soul, and there’s only one like it in the whole world. Attic Gallery in Camas—the venerated contemporary art gallery that relocated from Portland about a year ago—is hosting a Holiday Group Exhibit during the month of December featuring works by scores of notable artists. The show will be held from Dec. 2-31, with an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on First Friday, Dec. 2.
You’ll find new ceramic works by Terri Axness, acrylic paintings by Earl Hamilton, wood carvings with weaving by Monica Setziol-Phillips, welded repurposed steel wall sculptures by Angela Ridgway, watercolor and pastel paintings by Mike Smith, and porcelain ceramics by Natalie Warrens.
At the reception, you’ll enjoy complimentary wine, treats, and live music by Bret Malmquist. Stick around for the Hometown Holidays tree-lighting, fireworks, and photos with Santa, all happening around the corner in downtown Camas.
See works by these and other artists on the Attic Gallery website at www.atticgallery.com. Questions? Call 360-833-9747. The gallery, which is located at 421 N.E. Cedar St., is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and by appointment.
