Shorty’s Garden and Home will host the 12th annual Oktoberfest celebration from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, from 5 to 11 p.m. This popular North Bank autumn tradition is a fundraiser presented by the Mahoney Family Foundation with proceeds benefiting two local nonprofit powerhouses: the Parks Foundation of Clark County and Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation.
This year’s festival includes live music and entertainment by Festival Brass and Donaumusikanten (a genuine German band! Ja!), dancing, hand-crafted ales from Mill City Brew Werks, and authentic German cuisine by Mill Creek Pub.
Advance tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online here or at either Shorty’s Garden & Home location, although the event itself will be held at Shorty’s Vancouver location, 10006 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. Tickets purchased at the event will be $25. All tickets include admission to the Oktoberfest celebration and one beverage token. And you should plan to leave die Kinder with ein babysitter, because this is a 21-and-over only event.
