“The Fire” Scottish Trio at Old Liberty

Are you up for some heel-stomping, kilt-flapping, hand-clapping, Scottish-style music? If so, then come on out to Ridgefield’s Old Liberty Theater where, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, you can hear Scottish music trio The Fire perform a special live concert. This lively ensemble is comprised of Scotland’s Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion Rebecca Lomnicki, David Brewer of Molly’s Revenge, and the multi-instrumentalist Adam Hendley. They’ll play rousing Scottish tunes that bridge the gap between the traditional fiddle and bagpipe music of Scotland. The entire band honors traditions of the region and have travelled and studied Scottish music to provide a high-energy sound experience that speaks to the varying regions and stories of the Scottish landscape.
