Haunted Walking Tour: Downtown Camas

The Downtown Camas Association is hosting the first-ever Ghosts & Spirits Haunted Walking Tour of downtown Camas, just in time for Halloween! Experience a one-hour guided walking tour through downtown Camas while hearing riveting, ghostly stories that have been collected by downtown building owners and merchants over the years—as well as mediums who have done readings downtown. Tourtakers will be pleasantly spooked by paranormal folklore about downtown buildings, with a lively dose of Camas history thrown in for good measure. Locations include the old Georgia Pacific Mill, Camas Antiques, Arktana, Camas Gallery, and other locales where strange goings-on and otherworldly sightings have been reported. The tour is presented by White Light Paranormal Insight and sponsored by The Wild Hair.

The tour will end at Salud Wine Bar with more ghost stories. Tickets are $15 per person, and the price includes treats and two “spirits” of the alcoholic variety. Tickets are expected to sell quickly and the tour may, in fact, sell out. There are two tour times offered: at 6 p.m. and at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. The tour starts at Camas Gallery, 408 N.E. 4th Ave in downtown Camas, with your first “spirit” of the evening, and the tour ends with another “spirit” at Salud Wine Bar. This is an outside tour, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring an umbrella, just in case! Registration is required.
