The paintings of acclaimed artist Rob Blackaby will be featured at Camas Gallery during the month of July. Blackaby is a multi-disciplinary fine artist, with a professional background in commercial and fine art spanning nearly four decades. He was previously employed as an illustrator and graphic designer at Lockheed/Martin Aerospace, and he’s worked full time as a fine artist in Washington State since 1988, exhibiting in various Pacific Northwest galleries. His artwork has received many awards and his work is in corporate and private collections in the United States. Blackaby was also involved in the Lake Chelan murals program, which resulted in eleven murals in the city of Chelan, Washington.
Blackaby’s work will be on display from Saturday, July 1, until Monday, July 31. You can meet Blackaby in person at Camas Gallery’s First Friday Reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 7. The reception will include complimentary light refreshments and live music. Camas Gallery is normally open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
