Roots Restaurant and Bar is offering its annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 14, and we can personally attest to this brunch’s ability to please and delight. Roots will open at 10 a.m. so that you can bring your mother, grandmother, sister, aunt or other significant woman in your life to enjoy such dishes as seared sea scallops with spring vegetable risotto, favanade, and parsnip crisp.
