Chinese New Year Celebration

Celebrate the newly-begun Year of the Horse with a Gung Hay Fat Choy ("Wishing You Prosperity") celebration. This Westfield Shoppingtown mall branch of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library network is partnering with the Portland Arts & Cultural Center and the Lee Association Lion Dance Team to bring us a live performance of traditional Chinese music and dance, including the much-loved Lion Dance. The performance will be held in the J.C. Penney Court.

Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 285. This branch of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library network is partnering with the Portland Arts & Cultural Center and the Lee Association Lion Dance Team to bring us a live performance of traditional Chinese music and dance, including the much-loved Lion Dance.

The celebration—perfect for children and families—will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22. There is no charge. The performance will be held in the courtyard area directly in front of J.C. Penney.
