Where's the best place to expend a load of teenage energy? At the Vancouver Community Library's first-ever Just Dance Party, for teens and preteens ages 10 to 14! There will be snacks, music, and lots of other restless teens who'll be showing off their awesome dance moves. (Do teens say "awesome" anymore? If something is "sick," does that mean it's good or bad, in teen-speak?) Anyhow, no matter what your teen says to express his or her approval—even if it's just nodding silently—the Just Dance Party will be totally cool. ("Cool"—that's still acceptable, right?)
The dance will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 11, in the Columbia Room on the first floor of the library at 901 C St. in downtown Vancouver. There's no cost to attend, and there's no registration required. For more information, visit the library teen events webpage here.
