Jean Schwalbe at Attic Gallery

Attic Gallery—the venerable gallery of contemporary art that recently relocated to Camas from Portland—will be featuring the works of Jean Schwalbe during the month of April. You can meet the artist in person at the First Friday Artist’s Reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1, at Attic Gallery, 421 N.E. Cedar St. in downtown Camas. Schwalbe’s impressionist paintings of many Oregon views are well known for their strong and unique visions of the Oregon landscape. Attic Gallery will also exhibit a selection of Schwalbe’s masterful, jewel-toned abstract painting.

The reception on April 1 will feature complimentary wine, refreshments, and live music by Bret Malmquist. If you’re not able to make it on Friday night but would still like to meet the artist and see her works, Schwalbe will also be at the gallery at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.
