Fresh Fruit Fest

Drink This! Vancouver: Fresh Fruit Fest

Drink This! is your chance to meet Vancouver’s artisan beveragemakers. The focus is on wine, craft beer, and cocktails, but you might also sample hard cider, coffee, tea, and soda—and this month, the focus is also on delicious drinks made from, or made with, fresh fruit. Plan your own self-guided tour with the Drink This map, available at participating locations from 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Here’s where to go and what you can sample at each place—and you’ll notice that there are three brand-new places to try in downtown Vancouver:

There’s no admission, RSVP or tickets needed to participate, although there may be tasting fees in some locations. Prices per drink are as low as $1 and some tastings are free, while other artisan beverages are sold at full price. There will be plenty of food to buy as well as live music. You’ll also have a chance to vote for your favorite beverage; get four stamps (one for each beverage purchased) on your map, and then drop off your map at the end of the event. The winning drink will be announced by Sept. 29 on the Drink This Facebook page. Last but not least, you can get free rides (up to a $20 fare) from Uber; use code WINEFESTVAN.
