Magenta Theater‘s Oct. 27 and 28 7:30 p.m. performances of “Dead Beats” have both sold out—but hold onto your wigs and mummy bandages, because there is now an additional performance of this quirky Halloween production scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m.
The Magenta Theater band (Dead Beats) plays a variety of Halloween-themed songs and there is family-friendly banter to accompany the numerous dance numbers. The only real thing missing is a lead singer for the band. And that’s what Frau Bloomer, the hostess for the event, plots throughout the show…only to be foiled by an unexpected visitor! This production is in addition to the regular mainstage season and promises to be the first of many escapades involving Professor Frankenvalley, Frau Bloomer, Algore, and Alveena.
Tickets are available online now for $12, or $15 at the door (while supplies last). The Magenta will open its doors at 1:30 p.m. so that you can find a seat and get some refreshments in the lobby: craft beer, wine, and fun snacks. The Magenta Theater is located 1108 Main St . in downtown Vancouver. Tickets are available by clicking here http://www.MagentaTickets.com/tickets, visiting Magenta Theater’s website at www.magentatheater.com, or calling the box office at 360-635-4358.
