Halloween Harvest Party at Camas Meadows

Camas Meadows Golf Club is hosting its third annual Halloween Harvest Party starting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. The free, family-friendly party features a Halloween costume contest with prizes, games, a cake walk, trick-or-treating, pumpkin putting, giveaways, and more. All kids (younger and older) and their families are welcome. Fall beverages for both juniors and adults will be served. Prizes will be awarded in the costume contest and the Grand Prize winner (see below) will be announced at 4:30 p.m.

Those who complete the Harvest Punchcard before 4:30 p.m. will be entered in a drawing to win either a $100 Camas Meadows Golf Shop credit toward a set of youth golf clubs or a complimentary pizza party at Camas Meadows for up to 25 people. Family Game Night at Camas Meadows

Camas Meadows Golf Club is offering a Family Game Night on Saturday, July 22. Come at 7 p.m. for an optional $5 pizza dinner, and then stay for the free family golf at 8 p.m., featuring mini-putt competitions and the famed Marshmallow Long Drive, among other fun games. All ages are welcome and you don’t need to be a pro (or even very good) to enjoy this event. No registration is necessary; just show up!

While you’re there, you can sign up with the Washington Youth Golf Academy at Camas Meadows, which offers classes for all ages and experience levels. The Washington Youth Golf Academy’s mission is to engage local young people through learning skills which will last a lifetime, and to create a place where future community leaders can grow through character development and friendships.

Free GolfZilla Event at Camas Meadows

Camas Meadows Golf Club is hosting a free, fun kids’ event from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, featuring GolfZilla—the giant inflatable lizard-dragon modeled after everyone’s favorite Japanese megamonster, with golf-ball-sized holes strategically placed to give players something to aim at (or shoot it straight into GolfZilla’s mouth—he won’t care!). There will also be free practice available at driving range stations and complimentary ice cream for everyone.

While at Camas Meadows, kids and families can check out the latest youth equipment, practice with GolfZilla, meet Camas Meadows instructors, and get fitted for just the right size clubs. Find out about kids’ golf summer camps and other youth programs, or sign your young golfer up for lessons.

Golf & Breakfast, Easter Brunch at Camas Meadows

Weekday mornings in March just got a little yummier at Camas Meadows Golf Club, because they’re offering a delicious deal: 18 holes of golf plus breakfast for $39. On Mondays through Fridays until March 31, you can get the aforementioned 18 holes with a golf cart, a breakfast burrito, coffee, and a Camas Meadows logo hat. This deal can be used for up to four people per tee time.

Camas Meadows is also taking reservations for its Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt on from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 16. A Birdie in the Hand: Golf Classes at Camas Meadows

How many times have you said to yourself, “If only I knew how to play golf, my life would be complete!” Probably more times than I have. But if this is indeed your wish, Camas Meadows is ready to grant it. Registration for its 2017 roster of adult golf classes opens on Wednesday, Feb. 1. This includes the “Get Golf Ready” group lessons for either men or women and “Play Better Golf” co-ed classes. You can also schedule a private lesson for your friends, as a corporate event, or as an inventive birthday party or family gathering. All classes offer PGA-certified instruction, range balls, and equipment.

Have you heard of Night Golf? OK, how about Glow Golf? It happens after dark, and it’s very flourescent. The golf balls glow different colors, and golfers can trace their luminescent arcs across the green. It’s golf, but brighter! Camas Meadows Golf Club is hosting a Night Golf event for junior golfers (ages seven to 17) and their families from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. All skill levels are welcome, even if you’ve never golfed before. The evening includes five holes of golf on Camas Meadows’ Driving Range, drinks and cookies, and all equipment—especially the glowing golf balls! Tickets are $20 per person, for junior or adults. Concerts for a Cause

Concerts for a Cause is Vancouver’s summertime blending of great music, a gorgeous venue, and feel-good fundraising. From 6:30 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday from July 12-Aug. 19, a different band will perform at Camas Meadows to raise funds for local nonprofit organizations. This year, the charities that will benefit from the concerts include the Parks Foundation of Clark County, City of Camas Parks and Recreation, Friends of Hospice Southwest Washington, and Santa’s Posse. Here’s the schedule so you can pick which concerts you’d like to attend (or maybe just attend them all!):
