Art Show & Sale at Latte Da

Latte Da Coffe House and Wine Bar invites you to “Satisfy Your Senses” at its three-day Art Show & Sale from Friday, July 25, through Sunday, July 27. This event will also satisfy your soul, because proceeds from the sale of art will benefit the Assistance League of Southwest Washington. Use all five of your senses to see original works of art, smell the delicious fragrance of freshly brewed coffee, feel the warm summer sun on your arms (or enjoy Latte Da’s cool air conditioning, as the case may be), hear lively conversation and laughter, and taste Latte Da’s excellent selection of local wines. Here’s the schedule:

  • Friday, July 25, 5 to 9 p.m. – artist reception and preview, wine tasting, and light bites
  • Saturday, July 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – art show and sale
  • Sunday, July 27, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – art show and sale

Featured artists—who will be painting while the show is going on, creating new pieces of art for you to enjoy—include Jeanette French, Edi Olson, and Bonnie Junell, presenting works in oil and acrylic; Kathleen Hovis, with handcrafted jewelry; and photographs by Carolyn Waissman. “Art Among the Tulips” Art Show & Wine Tasting

Holland America Bulb Farms invites flower fans, wine-lovers, and art afficianados to "Art Among the Tulips," the first-ever Tulip Festival Art Show & Wine Tasting. This event will be held a week before the big annual tulip festival on April 12, 13, 19, and 20, when the tulip blooms are at their peak. Art Among the Tulips is a smaller, more intimate event from 4 to 8 p.m. on one day only. Attendees will be given tickets worth five tastings each, although additional samples will be offered for $3 each. Advance tickets are $15, available online, and tickets at the door are $20.

This is a juried art show, with art and artists selected especially for this event. All art will be on sale, and while you sip wine and enjoy the vivid array of tulip blooms, you can choose from oil and acrylic paintings, drawings, embellished frames, handmade ceramics, artisianal oils and vinegars, handmade jewelry, original photographs and cards, and fused glass dishes. Your browsing and sipping will be accompanied by live music, and food will be available to buy.
