Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic Night

Don’t get your darling buds of May in a dither! Come to the Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic Night to hear poet Robert Lashley perform some of his work—in addition to poetry read aloud by the North Bank’s most notable poets, both published and not-yet-published.
A 2016 Jack Straw Fellow, Artist Trust Fellow, and nominee for a Stranger Genius Award, Lashley has had poems published in Feminete, Seattle Review of Books, NAILED, GRAMMA, and The Cascadia Review. His first full-length book, The Homeboy Songs, was published by Small Doggies press in April 2014. His new book, Up South, was published in March of this year.
Sign-ups for Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic Night start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at Angst Gallery and the show starts at 7 p.m. The evening is open to anyone with poetry to share.
