Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic Night
February 11, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pmFree
The next Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic Night, hosted by Christopher Luna and Toni Lumbrazo Luna, will be leaping into Angst Gallery at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11. This month’s featured poet is Steve Williams, a Portland poet who is the author of a new chapbook, Thirteen.
For more information, visit the Ghost Town Poetry Facebook page, contact Luna at firstname.lastname@example.org or 360-910-1066, or visit printedmattervancouver.com. Angst Gallery is located at 1015 Main Street it downtown Vancouver, right next door to Niche Wine Bar, which generously provides the food and libation for this uncensored poetry gathering.
Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic Night has been meeting monthly since 2004. If you can’t make it to the Thursday evening meeting, visit the Vancouver City Hall building on 6th St. to see the Poetry Moves exhibit, showcasing poems—all penned by local poets—displayed on Clark County’s C-Tran buses (or you could just ride the bus!). Finally, if you just can’t get enough poetry (and who can?) come to Niche Wine Bar on Saturday, Feb. 27, for the monthly Poetry & Music Jam.
