Free Summer Outdoor Bootcamps

Northwest Personal Training is offering free (yup, free!) Outdoor Summer Bootcamps to keep you fit and healthy this summer. Bootcamps meet at 9 a.m. on Sundays from July 2 to Aug. 27 at the downtown Vancouver location, 1011 Broadway St., and also at the Salmon Creek location (3six0 Fitness) at 14010 N.E. 3rd Ct., Building B. Bootcampers will use the fitness facilities as home base, but meet in various local parks: a beautiful way to trade the four walls of a gym for some beautiful Northwest summer scenery!

These group training sessions are designed for those who are looking for a serious workout, a fast way to get in shape, and an activity that takes you beyond the gym gym. You can attend all of them, a few of them, or even just one. Whether you bring a friend or go solo, you’ll have a good time and get those endorphins flowing. Here’s the schedule:

  • July 2 – Downtown Vancouver
  • July 9 – Salmon Creek
  • July 16 – Downtown Vancouver
  • July 23 – Salmon Creek
  • July 30 – Downtown Vancouver
  • Aug. 6 – Salmon Creek
  • Aug. 13 – Downtown Vancouver
  • Aug. 20 – Salmon Creek
  • Aug. 27 – Downtown Vancouver

Be warmed: NPT bootcamps are not for the timid. Come prepared to sweat (or “glow,” as the case may be), but more importantly, be prepared to enjoy yourself and the pleasure of an outdoor workout. You’ll meet at the Northwest Personal Training studio, but bootcamps will take place in a selection of local parks in downtown Vancouver, in the sunshine and fresh air.
