Free Genealogy Workshop at Camas Library
June 12, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Have you ever wondered about your ancestry, or wanted to fill in those blank spots on your geneaological chart? With a few contemporary tools—the trusty Internet, modern databases and registries, and a little sleuthing and determination—you can develop a clearer picture of every branch, leaf (and nut!) on your family tree.
Lots of genealogical societies or seminars will charge you membership dues or registration fees, but you are in luck because Brian A. Runyan, president of the Clark County Genealogical Society, will share tips and techniques with you for free at a workshop hosted by the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. 4th Ave. in downtown Camas. The workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 12, and there’s no registration necessary! Just show up with pen, paper, and all your questions.
The workshop will be held upstairs in Meeting Room A. Free parking is available on the street.
