Clark County Fair, Aug. 7-16
August 7, 2015
The Clark County Fair—one of the country’s top-rated fairs for cleanliness, accessibility, amazingness, awesomeness, and just plain FUN–is opening its gates to excited fairgoers on Friday, Aug. 7, and will be open every day until Sunday, Aug. 16. Opening day kicks off with a free Fred Meyer Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m.; tickets for the pancake breakfast are available at all Clark County Fred Meyer locations. Regular fair admission is $11 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $8 for kids ages seven to 12. Kids under six are free. In fact, you can purchase tickets online right now and avoid standing in line. Parking is $6 per vehicle.
You’ll see family exhibits and entertainment and maybe take in a concert or two, in addition to traditional fair pleasures such as horses, cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, and similarly adorable farm animals, beautiful and delicious preserves and pickles, incredible handmade quilts, and Clark County’s finest examples of the craftsmanship and artistry that have been the backbone of American farm life for generations. And there are four days on which the Clark County Fair is offering reduced entrance fees:
