Boo Bash Trick-or-Treat in downtown Camas
October 25, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pmFree
Boo Bash! Trick or Treat is a Halloween tradition in downtown Camas, held from 3 to 5 p.m. on the Wednesday before Halloween every year. This year, Boo Bash will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, and you’re invited to add your “Boo!” to Camas’ bash. Come in costume but be prepared for the whatever the weather might do (rain is always a possibility) and bring jumbo-sized buckets, pillowcases, or maybe a wheelbarrow to hold all the candy you’ll get. Pretty much every single store in downtown Camas will be open and handing out candy and Halloween-themed goodies to the crowds who are expected to throng the streets, forming a candy-fueled conga line up and down N.E. Fourth Ave. About 3,000 people came last year, and this year is expected to be another record turn-out!
Fourth Ave. from Adams to Franklin and side streets from Third to Fifth will be closed for the event to ensure children’s safety. Please no bikes, skateboards, or scooters. Parents, please provide supervision when crossing streets! We want our little ghosts and goblins, superheroes and storybook characters, pirates and princesses to stay safe.
After you’re done with your boo-bashing, stick around and have a warming coffee or hot cocoa at Caffe Piccolo, grab a bite to eat at Mill City Brew Works, Nuestra Mesa, or The Sushi Joint 2. If you need some extra carbs to go with your sugar, sample the Halloween treats at Cake Happy. Click here for a walking map of downtown Camas to help you plan your visit.
