Bi-Zi Farms Harvest Festival, Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze
October 6, 2017
Bi-Zi Farms’ Annual Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch is now underway, and the celebration will continue Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Oct. 29. Bi-Zi Farms—operating on land owned and farmed by the Zimmerman family since 1872—is a North Bank tradition, with autumnal treats like a giant haystack, an epic corn maze, farm animals, and delicious fall food. Note to the intrepid: if you want to do just the corn maze after dark, you can pay a $5 entrance fee. There’s an admission price at the gate ($10 general admission, $8 for seniors, free for tots two and under), but that fee includes all of the following:
- One pumpkin, any size you can carry
- Wagon ride to and from the Pumpkin Patch
- Admission to the corn maze (and that thing is HUGE!)
- Admission to see the farm animals
- Children’s activities, including calf-roping
- Two shots on the pumpkin launchers
- Live music
- Apple cider sampling
- One hot drink (coffee, spiced cider or hot chocolate)
- Pedal tractor driving
- Corn shelling and grinding station
For a small additional fee, there are pony rides, face painting, food and drinks, and kettle or caramel corn. You can also visit the excellent farm store for an abundance of seasonal produce, bread, apple cider, jam, honey, and other farm-fresh goodies.
Bi-Zi Farms is located at 9504 119th St. in Vancouver, out near the Brush Prairie area. Harvest Festival hours are Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Farm Store is open Mondays through Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about Bi-Zi Farms, visit bizifarms.com.
