Rocksolid Community Teen Center invites all teens in the 5th-12th grades to attend “Teen Takeover,” a just-for-teens event to be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Rocksolid in Brush Prairie. For only a $5 entry fee, teenage guests will enjoy a special evening of food, fun, and hanging out. There will be hot, cheesy pizza donated by Detroit Pizza, along with complimentary juice, water, or soda. Interactive inflatable games and obstacle from Bounce ‘N Battle will be set up in the gymnasium. The teens will be able to take home a keepsake photo from VIP Photo Booth. “Fear Factor” winners will receive prizes. Teens should bring their student IDs for age verification. Questions? Rocksolid Community Teen Center offers a safe place after school for fifth through 12th grade students in the Battle Ground and Hockinson School Districts (although all teens are welcome). The teen center provides caring mentors which help with homework, play games, make crafts, teach life skills, offer free healthy snacks, contribute to community service projects, and much more for only $20 a year per student.
