Are you a woman who likes beer? Do you enjoy tasting it, talking about it, and comparing notes? Would you rather have a pint of Pilsner than a glass of Chablis—or better yet, a pint of double IPA brewed locally with a hop-forward aroma, a smooth drinking profile with bright notes of tobacco and citrus and a mellow, woodsy finish? (Me, too!) Anyhow, the point is…you are not alone! Many other women feel the same way…and thus, the Couve Brew Bevy was born.
This is a monthly meet-up of brew-loving lasses who want to get together, explore the world of beer, make connections with other women who love beer, and generally celebrate the marvelous melding of womanhood and beer. The next Couve Brew Bevy is meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Final Draft Taphouse, 11504 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. Drop in, hang out, meet some people, and drink some excellent craft beer from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
