Do you lack companionship of the furry, four-legged variety? Languish no more in petlessness, because the Camas Public Library is hosting a Cat Adoption Day with the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society on Saturday, June 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library courtyard. Come and visit with kitties who need fur-ever homes with extra love, and talk to representatives from the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, who know their animals well and will get you matched up with just the right one.
The West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is a local no-kill shelter that’s found homes for over 4,200 dogs and cats (including this editor’s own adorable cat, Clementine). To learn more, visit wcghs.org. If you can’t attend the adoption event on Saturday, never fear; the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society often runs adoption events at the PetSmart on 192nd Ave. in East Vancouver.
The Camas Public Library is located at 625 N.E. 4th Ave. in downtown Camas. For more information, call 360-834-4692 or visit www.camaslibrary.org.
