What goes together better than Father’s Day and beer? How about father’s day, handcrafted pizza, a whole roasted pig, live music, and the grand opening of the Couve’s newest brewpub, Brothers Cascadia Brewing, at 9811 N.E. 15th Ave. in the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver.
It’s a two-day party, from 3 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, and Sunday, June 18 (Father’s Day). Pizzeria La Sorrentina will be on-site with its food truck, serving up artisan pizza (the best in Washington State, according to Yelp reviews and this Buzzfeed article). Brothers Cascadia will be releasing new craft brews for you to try, and there will be live music on Saturday with DJ Nose Bone, Diamond Jim and the Bay Area Band, and Josiah Wynn. On Sunday, you’ll hear from DJ Delvis and Brady Goss. And here’s a major Father’s Day highlight: Herb N’ Roots Company will be roasting a whole pig for your dining pleasure.
This is a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome. There will be grand opening gifts for guests and lots to keep you occupied, satisfy your hunger, and quench your thirst.
