C’est la Vie French Café and Crêperie is celebrating its fifth birthday this month! Five years ago, on March 17, 2012, Chef Keri Buhman—who also owns Soirée Supper Club & Catering at the same location—set up her tent at the Vancouver Farmer’s Market (also making its seasonal debut this weekend) and the rest is delicious, delicious history. C’est la Vie graduated from a tent to a brick-and-mortar store, and then a couple years ago she expanded at her Hazel Dell location and opened Soirée Supper Club, which hosts monthly prix fixe, limited seating, RSVP-only dinners. Most recently, Buhman has opened a small marketplace next door to C’est la Vie, where customers can purchase high-quality, super-yummy French wines, cured meats, cheeses, baguettes and other goodies.
So now it’s time to celebrate! Drop by C’est la Vie any time from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 17, when all food, desserts, glasses of wine and mimosas will be $5.
