The Clark County Quilters are hosting their annual Spring Stash Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. This isn’t a quilt show—although you’ll no doubt see many beautiful, amazing quilts, each one lovingly stitched by hand—but it is a quilters’ market where you can shop from 35 vendors (all members of Clark County Quilters). Browse through fabric, books, patters, sewing and quilting supplies, handmade gifts, and of course, QUILTS!
There’s no admission fee and the Stash Bazaar is open to the public. Everything is available for purchase. Proceeds will go to the quilters themselves, and some of the fabrics and supplies which remain after the sale will be donated to the benefit of local charities. If you come during lunchtime, be sure and buy something delicious from Project Linus members, who will donate funds raised to support their mission to make sure there’s a “blanket for any child who needs a hug.”
The Stash Bazaar takes place at Salmon Creek United Methodist Church, 12219 N.E. Hwy. 99 in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver. For more information about Clark County Quilters and their meetings, special events, and classes, visit clarkcountyquilters.org.
