Two things that were inarguably created to go together are beer and cheese. Ben’s Bottle Shop—a beautifully contemporary tap room, restaurant, and bottle shop featuring hundreds of unusual and hard-to-find alcoholic goodies—is putting those two things together in a way that will make both things taste even better (if that’s even possible). The Artisan Beer and Cheese Pairing is happening at Ben’s Bottle Shop at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, and will feature five thoughtful courses of artisan pairings, such as the world-class Samuel Smith Yorkshire Stingo paired with a wonderful aged Gouda, and a Brasserie Lebbe l’Amalthée Saison paired with Garrotxa a Catalonia goat cheese.
Tickets are $40 per person and seating is limited but we understand there are a few spots left. You can purchase tickets in person at Ben’s Bottle Shop by talking to your “beertender,” or you can call the bottle shop at 360-314-6209. Ben’s Bottle Shop is located at 8052 E. Mill Plain Blvd. in the Heights area of Vancouver, just next door to the excellent Smokehouse Provisions and Rally Pizza.
