Niche Wine Bar in downtown Vancouver is offering something tantalizing for those who like a little food with their wine: Chef’s Night. It happens every Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and features a special menu, different and delicious every time. The first Chef’s Night, in a wonderful coincidence, happens to fall on Tuesday, Feb. 14—that’s Valentine’s Day, in case you live in Timbuktu.
Niche Wine Bar’s Chef David Higginbotham will prepare a romantic dinner with delectable dishes that pair well with some of the many wines that Niche offers from its broad wine list, which includes both international and domestic wines as well as a few local varietals. Stop in and enjoy an evening of exceptional food in an intimate atmosphere, and who knows where the night will lead? With enough wine, anything is possible. Ha, ha. But seriously, drink responsibly.
Reservations are recommended by calling 360-980-8352. Niche Wine Bar is located in downtown Vancouver at 1013 Main St. To take a look at the regular menu—which includes everything from salted dates and speck-smoked prosciutto to cheeses, salads and a classic tarte flambée with Gruyere—click here.
