The Liberty Theatre in downtown Camas aims to make your holiday a whole lot Grinchier with three showings of the 2000 film, “Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” The movie, which stars Jim Carrey as the all-green lead and is narrated by Anthony Hopkins, is rated PG and has a running time of one hour and 45 minutes. Popcorn, ice cream, nachos, beer and wine are all available for purchase in the lobby and can be eaten in the theater.
The Liberty will show How the Grinch Stole Christmas during Camas’ Hometown Holidays celebration on Friday, Dec. 2. The movie begins at 8 p.m. after the tree-lighting, fireworks, and photos with Santa. The film will be shown again at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, with a final showing at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. Shows before 6 p.m. are $4.50, and shows after 6 p.m. are $5.50. Ticket prices are the same for all ages.
