Got a crafty teen? Get them over to the Camas Public Library for some serious crafting at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Library staff crafter extraordinaire Judy Wile will show teen crafters how to make beautiful red-and-silver glitter birds–either as single ornaments or as a garland. No gluing required! Scissors are involved, its conceptually easy but a bit tricky to get the wings just right. After they’re done, they can be set in flight around your tree!
The teen crafting group is free and no registration is required. The workshop, which will be held in the Teen Room, will last until 5:30 p.m. Adults can stay but, you know, they’re kind of uncool. For more details, call Wile at the Camas Library at 360-817-7206 or e-mail her at email@example.com. The Camas Public Library is located at 625 N.E. 4th Ave. Come early to do a little shopping in downtown Camas (we recommend Camas Antiques and Lizzabeth A), or stay late and have dinner at one of Camas’ excellent restaurants (we recommend The Sushi Joint and Nuestra Mesa).
