Vancouver’s Fresh Hop Festival is almost here! Join local and regional breweries at Vancouver Landing Amphitheater at 100 Columbia Street in downtown Vancouver from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8, for some delicious fresh hop beers. Featured brewers include Trap Door, Beerded Brothers, Fortside, Doomsday, Amnesia, Brother Ass, Heathen, Loowit, Mill City, Walking Man, and pFriem.
Vancouver Brewfest – Fresh Hop Edition is a two day celebration of this seasonal style of beer, which is only available when the fresh hops are harvested in the fall. The fresh, green hops are used in the boil during the last few minutes to add a distinct hoppy flavor and aroma. You’ll be able to sample a huge variety of fresh hop beers created by Southwest Washington breweries—as well as five special beers, imported directly from Germany, that have never before been available in Washington. You’ll also be able to sample ciders from Tooley Bender Cidery and meads from Ethereal and Dusty Bottle. And if you get hungry, try some of the Couve’s best offerings from FireBox Food, Vida Flare, Tommy O’s, and Foody Blues BBQ.
Advance tickets are available at vancouverbrewfest.com/tickets/. Tickets will also be available at the gate, but only while supplies last. Weekend passes are available for $35-$30, and day passes are available for $15-$22. Additional tokens are $1.50 each or four for $5. Ample free parking is available on-site, and Designated Driver tickets are available for $8 and includes free non-alcoholic beverages from the Lions Club food tent.
