Blind Taste Tests, Ember & Vine, and Mudbugs

Burnt Bridge Cellars recently began hosting occasional blind taste tests of its wines, and it’s proved to be both popular and fun. Test your taste buds and your wine knowledge during Burnt Bridge’s next blind taste test, happening on Friday, Oct. 14.

Drop by any time from 4 to 9 p.m., when—in addition to the usual selection of award-winning wines—you can challenge your palate to a blind tasting of four different red wines. Burnt Bridge Cellars will provide you with tasting notes (without identifying the wine, of course) and then you sample each wine. All four wines will be poured at once, so you can go back and forth between samples, “studying” with the tasting notes. Once you think you’re ready for the test, you can fill out the ballot. If you get them all right, you’ll get a $10 discount off your next Burnt Bridge purchase and be entered in a drawing to win a bottle of wine. If you DON’T guess them all correctly, you’ll still have a lot of fun!

On Friday, Oct. 21, there will be regular wine tasting plus food from Ember and Vine and Cajun music with the Mudbugs. Burnt Bridge Cellars is located at 1500 Broadway in downtown Vancouver. To learn more, visit www.burntbridgecellars.com. or call 360-695-3363.
