Vancouver Library Turns Four

The Vancouver Community Library relocated to its architecturally stunning, light- and color-filled, award-winning space four years ago, and officially opened its doors to the community on July 17, 2011. Drop by the new Vancouver Community Library any time from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 17, and help celebrate its fourth birthday in its grand new building. There will be free cookies in the Columbia Room (on the ground floor, to your left as you enter), hosted by Friends of the Library.

The Vancouver Community Library is located at 901 C St. in downtown Vancouver, and there’s always lots going on—free classes and workshops for adults, teens, and kids in every imaginable subject as well as books, books, and more beautiful books. Plus, they recently launched a spiffing new website, where you can find out everything you ever wanted to know about the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District: new.fvrl.org.
