The first Monday of the month means that you can leave your inhibitions at the door, get behind the microphone at Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar, and say, sing, or strum your best stuff. If you’re not the limelight-seeking type, you can sit back and sip a cold beer, a glass of wine, or delicious coffee concoction while enjoying the evening’s line-up of acoustic talent.
If you’d like to perform—and Latte Da welcomes all types of amateur and professional talent, from fiddle-playing to poetry, to guitar duos and stand-up comedy—come at 6 p.m. to put your name to the roster. The entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m., and lasts until 9 or 9:30 p.m., depending on the number of performances, usually 15-20. Latte Da’s Open Mic Nights have begun to draw quite the enthusiastic crowd, and artists can expect to perform for around 50 people (80 on a warm summer evening).
