The family- and pet-friendly Outdoor Market at Battle Ground Village is revving up for a bountiful summer season. Opening day is Saturday, May 2, and the Village will be packed with produce from local farmers, wares fashioned by North Bank artisans, and live music from vocalist and guitarist Silky Mayer. The first 50 visitors will receive a free Market Bag filled with coupons, freebies, and other goodies.
The market is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday from May 2 through Sept. 26. Visitors will find fresh local fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs, flowers, plants, arts and crafts, baked goods, delicious prepared food, home and garden gifts and accessories, live entertainment, and children’s activities.
Battle Ground Village is a collection of shops, restaurants, and residences located near the intersection of S.E. Grace Ave. and S.E. Rasmussen Blvd. If you’re hungry or thirsty after the market ends, you can always visit the excellent Northwood Public House & Brewery, Uncle D’s Wood-fired Pizza, Pasta Gigi’s, or Emanar Cellars—and they’re all easy to get to, because they’re all located right in Battle Ground Village.
